The Riverland women’s basketball team cruised to a 72-50 win over University of Wisconsin-Richland Center in Riverland Gym Tuesday.

RCC freshman Robin Arjes, an Austin grad, had a breakout game in the win, going for 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Blue Devils (8-4 overall).

“Robin has been doing a nice job close to the basket and tonight she hustled from block to block,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.

RCC has now won five in a row and it is off until it re-opens play Jan. 3 after the winter break.
