The Riverland’s mens basketball team hit a slump that kept them out of it in a 70-55 loss at Northern Iowa Area Community College Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (3-4 overall) led 35-30 at the break, but they hit a spurt where they only scored four points in eight minutes that allowed NIACC to take the lead with 15:30 to go in the game.

“We were settling for longer jump shots than we would like,” RCC head coach Dan Swift said.
