The Lyle/Pacelli boys basketball team lost to Goodhue 84-51 in Lyle Tuesday.

The Athletics (0-6 overall) were within 10 with seven minutes to play in the first half when the Wildcats (4-2 overall) made their move.

Goodhue ended up leading 53-24 at the break.

“They’re a good team and a lot of good came out of this for us,” L/P head coach Casey Anderson said. “We’re coming around and the kids keep hustling.”

Ashton Erie led Goodhue with 18 points, but he sat most of the second half.
