The Grand Meadow boys basketball team lost to Spring Grove 80-21 in GM Friday.

The Larks (1-2 overall, 1-1 SEC) trailed 45-12 at the half.

“Spring Grove dominated us in every aspect of the game,” GM head coach Chad Burmester said. “We couldn’t handle their pressure and turned the ball over constantly. I’m hoping that we learned a valuable lesson tonight about needing to be focused during practice and bringing intensity to practice every single night.”

Aric Elton led the Lions (2-2 overall, 2-1 SEC) with 27 points.
