LeRoy/Ostrander freshman Becca Bunne hit two free throws with 50 seconds left in the game to boost the Cardinals girls basketball team to a 39-36 win in Grand Meadow Tuesday.

GM (0-1 overall, 0-1 SEC) had led 30-18 with 11:51 left in the game, but the Cards (1-2 overall, 1-0 SEC) closed the game out with a 21-6 run. Becca Bunne scored all 12 of her points in the second half.

Sophomore Cortney Olson had eight points and nine rebounds to lead GM.
