The Blooming Prairie wrestling team lost three duals in Mankato East Tuesday.

The Awesome Blossoms lost to Mankato East 59-21, fell to Maple River 51-24 and lost to St. Clair/Loyola 48-36.

“I think we had a pretty good showing for having some first year kids and some junior high kids out there,” BP head coach Kevin Driessen said. “We had to shuffle the lineup a little bit.”

BP senior Sam Johnson went 3-0 with two pins at 135 pounds, sophomore Jarrod Grunklee went 30- at 215, junior Adam Driessen went 3-0 at 140 and 145 pounds and eighth grader Zach Nirk was 2-0 at heavyweight.
