Alexandria bests Bruins

The Austin Bruins lost a home game to Alexandria 6-3 in Riverside Arena Friday night.

The Blizzard (11-8-3 overall) netted four goals in the third period to break open the game.

Austin (7-14-1 overall) scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the first when Mike Adamowicz found the back of the net and Charlie Adams gave the Bruins a 3-2 lead with 12:45 left in the second period.

Eamon McAdam allowed five goals on 24 shots for Austin and Keegan Asmundson stopped all seven shots he saw.
