The Riverland women’s basketball team opened its season with a 74-46 win at University of Wisconsin-Richland Center Wednesday.

The Blue Devils (1-0 overall) scored the first 11 points of the game as they rolled to the win.

Southland grad Kim Craig contributed 10 points, six assists and three steals off the bench for RCC.

“Kim came off the bench and played a real nice game for us,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said. “It was nice to get everyone in the game. They played through some mistakes and they made some things happen.”
