The Austin bowling team saw its season come to an end when it fell to Rochester John Marshall in four games at the Big Nine tournament in Recreation Lanes in Rochester Saturday.

The Packers and Rockets had equal records coming into the match, but JM prevailed.

It was the last match for seniors Chance Felten, Matt Breitbarth, Nick Downey and Troy Peil.

Phillips finished with the second highest fill percentage in the conference and he was named to the all conference and all-West Division teams. Lauren Schabert, Breitbarth, Felten and Cole Kroneman were named to the all-conference honorable mention team.

The Austin JV will compete in the Minnesota Qualifying Tournament with chance to get to state in Bloomington Nov. 21.
