MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis man has pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing his wife of 24 years in an argument over money.

A medical examiner says 42-year-old Pauline Nash was stabbed more than 70 times in the chest and head last April. Her 47-year-old husband, Billy Nash, told police he was upset with her over how she handled money. Nash told investigators he grabbed butcher and paring knives and stabbed her.

The Star Tribune reports the couple was living together despite a judge’s no-contact order for a beating Nash gave his wife 10 days before she died.
