Juliet Norma Ault, 94

Juliet Norma Ault, 94, of LeRoy died Friday Oct. 29, 2010 at the Grand Meadow Health Care Center where she had resided since 2007.
Juliet was born July 19, 1916 in Moscow to Enoch and Anne (Moen) Prestegard. She graduated from LeRoy High School and attended Waldorf College and Upper Iowa University. While teaching in an elementary school in Callender, IA she met Kenneth Ault and they were married on Mar. 16, 1940.
During the early years of their marriage they moved to a farm near Chester, IA to begin farming. Juliet began teaching at Southland Elementary School in Adams. While teaching at Southland Elementary she was awarded Minnesota Teacher of the year before retiring in 1979. She loved her years of teaching and seeing children progress while being educated and going out into the world.

Juliet was a member of LeRoy Lutheran Church where she served on many boards and committees. Juliet had a great love for her church and her family. She cherished and loved the time she spent with her husband (Kenneth) and the rest of her family.
She is survived by her son Roger (Eleanor) Ault of Lake In The Hills, IL; grandsons: Mark (Grace) Ault of Gelena, IL; Jon (Chris) Ault of West Fargo, ND; great-grandchildren: Megan, Nicole, Alison and Erik Ault; sister, Clara Prestegard of Riceville, IA and several cousins.
Juliet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth in January of 2009 and brother and sister-in-law LeMoyne and Iona Ault.
Funeral services for Juliet N. Ault will be held 11a.m. Friday Nov. 5, 2010 at the LeRoy Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will take place in the Ostrander Cemetery.
The family has requested memorials to World Hunger or to the LeRoy Lutheran Church.
