Hunter finds body in SW Minn.

HERON LAKE, Minn. — A deer hunter in southwestern Minnesota has found what’s believed to be the body of a man missing for months.

The hunter found the body Sunday in a grove on a vacant farm near Heron Lake.

Jackson County sheriff’s authorities believe the body is that of 49-year-old Kelly William Fest of Heron Lake.

Fest was reported missing in June. The body was taken to the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office. Identification is pending an autopsy.

Foul play is not suspected.
