George A. Levy, Sr., 94, of Robbinsdale passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.

George was born Dec. 29, 1915, in Austin, Minn. to the late Rudolph and Elizabeth (Krob) Levy.

He was a member of the D.A.V., Blinded Veterans Association, and Crystal K of C Council No. 3656 and was formerly active in Friendship Force and Vision Loss Resources.

George is survived by and will be dearly missed by son: George Jr. (Beverly); daughters: Adrienne (Rick) Riley and Denise Levy; grandchildren: Jason (Shannon), Michael, Erin, Robert, Patrick (Lark), and Blake (Jessica); great-grandchildren: Jade, Murphy, Kiara, Brooklyn, and Leo; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by wife, Arlene; and brother, Donald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Margaret Mary in Golden Valley, Minn. Interment is Monday at 3 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. Visitation is today from 4 to 7 p.m. with prayer services at 5 p.m. at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th and W. Broadway and one hour before the Mass at the church.
