Austin Godfather’s wins award

Several franchisees of Godfather’s Pizza, Inc. were recognized for their success at the 2010 Godfather’s Pizza Owner’s Meeting this past month in Omaha, Neb., The meeting was held on the University of Nebraska-Omaha campus at the Scott Conference Center. The winners were determined from results of the 2009 calendar year.

Brad Price, owner of Roc Management, Inc. from Spirit Lake, Iowa and owner of the Austin store was awarded High Volume Sales Award for 2009. The Austin store, which opened in January of 1980, was one of six locations out of more than 600 to receive this special recognition.

The awards were presented by president and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, Inc. Ron Gartlan, along with help from the Godfather himself. “The success of Godfather’s Pizza depends upon these franchisees that are passionate about our brand and our product,” said Gartlan. “The Austin location has consistently been a top performer in our company. That means that the people of Austin, MN love their Godfather’s Pizza and we’re grateful for their support of our concept.”
