Alda M. Brooks, 96, died on Nov. 9, 2010 in St. Paul.

Beloved mother, grandma and great-grandma, Alda was born Sept. 25, 1914 in Austin.

She is survived by three children: Joyce Merkley, Marilyn Josephs, Thomas Brooks and many other family and friends.

Alda is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday Nov. 13, 2010 at West Funeral Home, 1051 So. Robert St., West St. Paul. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery. West Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
