MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins are upset with the Minnesota Timberwolves for putting up a giant billboard overlooking their ballpark.

The Sanford Health billboard going up on the side of Target Center will dominate the view from the right-field seats at Target Field, as well as from Target Plaza outside the ballpark. The Timberwolves say it will debut in time for the first game of the Twins’ playoff run Wednesday.

Twins president Dave St. Peter tells the Star Tribune they’re surprised by the sheer size of the sign and how it dominates the view.

But Timberwolves president Chris Wright isn’t apologizing. He says in a statement they’re thrilled with their deepening partnership with Sanford Health. The health system is based in Fargo, N.D., and Sioux Falls, S.D., and has 30 hospitals and 111 clinics in eight states.
