As a person with just under ten years of experience working in local Law enforcement I have had the opportunity to serve the citizens of Mower County under Sheriff Amazi’s direction while she was Chief Deputy and since she was elected our Sheriff in 2002.

During that time, I have held several positions, including supervisory positions, and have worked with both Sheriff Amazi and Jeff Ellis.

Sheriff Amazi has always been available and responsive to questions, problems and suggestions from all 74 employees of the Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Amazi has encouraged cooperation with law enforcement officers from other local, state, and federal agencies.

Sheriff Amazi has consistently demonstrated her dedication to the citizens of

Mower County through her exceptional work ethic and willingness to explore new ideas.

Sheriff Amazi has regularly been actively involved with the community and service organizations.

Sheriff Amazi has routinely encouraged employees to further their training and knowledge base in an effort to provide the best possible service to the citizens of Mower County.

Sheriff Amazi has worked in all areas of the Sheriff’s Office and possesses the knowledge and experience necessary to continue to lead the Mower County Sheriff’s Office into the future.

It is my opinion that Sheriff Amazi is a tough but fair minded administrator who is the best and most qualified candidate for Mower County Sheriff.
