Superlarks blow past Cardinals

The Grand Meadow football team got most of its work done in the first half of a 46-22 win over LeRoy/Ostrander in the first round of the Section 1 nine-man playoffs Tuesday.
The Superlarks (8-1 overall) led 39-0 at the break as Caleb Leichtnam scored on runs of 43 and 55-yards and he also took an interception back for a 78-yard score.
L/O (0-9 overall) scored all of its points in the fourth quarter.
Richard Bain had 12 tackles for GM, while Brock Johnson had 10 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
GM will now host No. 5 Glenville/Emmons (4-5 overall) Saturday at 7 p.m. The Larks beat the Wolverines by scores of 41-8 and 41-28 during the regular season.
