The No. 7 seeded Lyle/Pacelli football team had its season end with a 47-6 loss at No. 2 Spring Grove in the first round of the Section 1 nine-man playoffs Tuesday.

L/P fell behind early and couldn’t get its offense going.

The Athletics (2-7 overall) had 102 yards on the ground and 49 passing yards, while Spring

Grove (8-1 overall) racked up 309 yards on the ground.
