The Riverland volleyball team lost to St. Cloud 30-32, 25-19, 26-24, 25-15 on the road Friday and it lost to Fergus Falls 25-16, 25-12, 25-21 on the road Saturday.

The Blue Devils (5-14 overall, 1-8 MCAC South) were without outside hitter Cassie Masberg for health reasons.

“We had a change in the line up one day before two tough conference games,” RCC head coach Helen Jahr said. “We did not communicate effectively in Fergus Falls and couldn’t get our offense clicking. Fergus was attacking the ball well and tipping to our open positions”

RCC had five service errors and 15 attack errors against St. Cloud.

Stephanie Loverink had a two-day total of 34 kills and 26 digs for RCC, Robin Arjes had eight blocks, Jessica Reuvers had six blocks, Katie Williams had three aces and 21 digs, Mercedes Miklya had 36 digs, and Kristin Vesel had 28 set assists.
