The Austin boys soccer team pulled out a 2-1 win in Winona (5-5-1 overall, 2-2-1 Big Nine) Saturday.

The Packers (6-4-2 overall, 3-2-2 Big Nine) took the lead for good when Rolando Rubio scored on a rebound on a shot by Francisco Torres that had deflected off Winona’s keeper in the second half.

Torres gave Austin a 1-0 loead in the first half when he scored on a penalty kick that was set up when Jake Hagen-Erickson was fouled in the box.
