The Austin girls swimming and diving team took seventh place out of eight teams at the Class ‘A’ ‘true team’ swimming meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis Friday.

Monticello won the meet with a score of 2153, while the Packers finished with a score of 1,311.

Austin had three top-10 finishers as Averi Splinter took ninth in the 100-yard butterfly, Autumn Laury was ninth in diving and the 200-yard medley relay team of Brooke Johnson, Kelli Bednar, Splinter and Helen Heimark took eighth.
