The Pacelli girls tennis team beat Shattuck-St. Mary’s 4-3 in its last regular season match of the season in Faribault Tuesday.

Abby Leif, Steph Kocer and Lindsey Chapek picked up singes wins and the No. 1 doubles team of Mindy Nguyen and Maggie Lief won.

“The girls have had a really up and down season,” Pacelli head coach Mark Henderson said. “They deserve a lot of credit for playing their best at the end. We’ve just got to keep it going into the postseason.”

Pacelli opens section play at Winona-Cotter Wednesday.
