Owatonna tops Bruins

The Austin Bruins fell to the Owatonna Express 4-2 on the road Saturday night.

The Express (6-6 overall) took over in the second period when Chris Bournazos and Branden Carney each netted power play goals in a two minute span to put Owatonna up 4-2.

Charlie Adams, a forward from White Bear, provided all of the offense for the Bruins (3-7 overall). He scored in the second and third period and now leads Austin in points with seven.

Keegan Asmundson had 16 saves on 20 shots and Alex Cantrell stopped all 20 shots he saw in net for the Bruins.
