CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Authorities plan to try again to find signs of small plane carrying a Minneapolis man and three of his children.
The plane disappeared Monday over western Wyoming and officials had hoped a plane equipped with sensitive detection equipment would hear a signal from the missing plane’s locater beacon on Thursday.
Search spokesman Ernie Over said that the special search plane found nothing definitive. Incident commanders plan more flights Friday.
The single-engine plane carrying 41-year-old Luke Bucklin, 14-year-old twins Nate and Nick and 12-year-old Noah disappeared from radar about an hour after taking off from Jackson in a snowstorm.
