Hasan Amjad Dama, age 25 of Austin, died Tuesday afternoon in Austin, Minnesota. He was born Dec. 19, 1984 to Amjad and Julie (Marienau) Dama in Austin. He graduated from Austin High School in 2003. He loved reading, working with computers and he wrote music.

Survivors include his mother, Julie Marroquin of Austin; father, Amjad Dama of Wilmington, North Carolina; brothers, Joseph Dama and Ignacio Marroquin, Jr., both of Austin; aunts and uncles, Stephanie (James) Cummings of Deerwood, Minnesota; Laurie (Douglas) Wanderer of Lidgerwood, North Dakota; Randy Marienau and Roger Marienau, both of Austin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Royce and Rosella Marienau.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, with Rev. Thomas Ogilvie officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery.
