Kathy Green is our best choice for state senator.

She has lived in Austin for 29 years, taking local issues to heart.

Well-educated, fiscal conservative, competent, enthusiastic and she gives 100 percent in all her endeavors. Family and community have been her focus. We will get a full-time senator for a part-time position. I can’t emphasize enough her devotion. You meet her and she remembers your name and takes the time to talk with you, she treats those she meets as if they are family.

A quote from Thomas Jefferson, our third President: “There is … an artificial aristocracy founded on wealth and birth, without either virtue or talents. … The artificial aristocracy is a mischievous ingredient in government, and provisions should be made to prevent its ascendancy.”

With those words let’s vote Sen. Sparks out and vote Kathy Green in.

What has District 27 actually seen from Mr. Sparks? Money has been spent frivolously; a gorilla exhibit in St. Paul, sculpture garden in Minneapolis, our state debt has increased. Following his voting record he seems a better fit for the Cities and its special interest.

I say stop the monkeying around, vote Kathy Green for District 27.
