The Grand Meadow volleyball team had its season end in a three-game loss at Fillmore Central Monday.

The No. 5 seeded Falcons (14-9 overall) beat the No. 12 seeded Superlarks by scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-18.

GM (4-18 overall) trailed the second game 13-3, but it battled back to make the contest close.

“Most people would’ve counted us out in that one, but we fought to get back in it and that’s shows how far we’ve come as a team this year,” GM head coach Michael Keefe said. “I’m proud of how we played tonight.”
