The Herald will accept and publish letters on election-related topics that are received prior to Monday, Oct. 25. The deadline is designed to ensure that comments on election issues can be published prior to election day.

Preference for publications is given to letters which are concise, to the point, and which do not engage in personal attacks. Letters may be submitted via the Herald’s web site — www.austindailyherald.com — or via e-mail to letters@austindailyherald.com. Letters may also be mailed to Editor, Austin Daily Herald, 310 2nd St. NE, Austin, MN 55912.
