City Council will meet Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. to take action on extending the Eagles Club loan and to decide whether to approve the Mower County All Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The council will also vote to approve a parking appeal from Clasen Jordan Mortuary, located at 209 Second Ave. NW. The mortuary is planning on constructing an added chapel that will seat about 150 people and has requested off-street parking upon completion of the project.

Council members will meet for a work session after the regular council meeting. Members will begin preparing the city for winter at the meeting by discussing a snow emergency ordinance and training for snow plow drivers.
