The Austin Chamber of Commerce will now be represented by a few new faces.

Chamber members gathered Wednesday to officially name four new board members: Adam Rees, Tim Fritz, Kelly Wagner and Mike Cooper.

Rees, CAO of Austin Medical Center, joined the Austin community in 2007, when he took on the role at AMC. Throughout the community, Rees is known as more than just a CAO — he’s a member of United Way and is involved in his church’s worship team and bible study groups.

Wagner works in Austin as an associate attorney with Baudler Baudler Maus and Blahnik. Outside of work, Wagner takes part in the Hormel Historic Home Board and Leadership Austin Class 2010-11.

Fritz works as the production manager at the Hormel Foods plant in Austin. Fritz takes part in work outside of Hormel through his home church, St. Edward Catholic Church. In addition, he’s worked with Pacelli Catholic School Council and has helped with fundraising projects through the Mower County United Way.

Cooper, local owner of Papa Murphy’s Pizza, has lived in Austin 37 years. For the past 12 years, he’s been involved with his franchise. Including Austin’s store, Cooper owns nine stores all together. Outside of work, he’s involved as a member of the Chamber Government Affairs Committee.

The four new elected board members will serve three year terms, starting Jan. 1, 2011.

Those whose terms expired on the board included Mark Coffey of Hormel Foods Corporation, Todd Hepler of Hy-Vee Food Store, Aaron Keenan of AMC and Jeff Kritzer of Baudler, Baudler, Maus and Blahnik.
