The Southland football team was hit with a few more injuries in a 26-0 loss at Caledonia (8-0 overall) in its regular season finale on the road Wednesday.

The Rebels (6-2 overall) compiled just 93 yards of offense as Tyler Bergene and Sam Noterman, as well as a couple of linebackers were banged up.

Bergene could be done for the season with a hyperextended elbow.

“If Sam was could go and we were healthy, then we would’ve had a good football game,” Southland head coach Shaun Kennedy said. “It’s frustrating to work so hard and then have all your guys on the sideline.”

Southland stopped Caledonia in the red zone twice.

The Rebels will open the Section 2AA playoffs next Tuesday at 7 p.m.
