Bruins pick up a win over Owatonna

The Austin Bruins had their most convincing victory of the season when they bested Owatonna (8-7 overall) 5-1 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Keegan Asmundson, who is from Mayville, N.D., played a solid game in net, stopping 36 of the 37 shots he saw and the Austin offense got going early.

The Bruins (4-8 overall) stormed to a 4-0 lead early in the second period as Jordan Greenberg and Trevor Waldoch both scored within the first three minutes of the second period.

Greenberg, a 6-foot, 180-pound forward from Plano Texas, scored his first two goals of the season in the win.
