Austin police are searching for suspects after discovering Saturday morning that the Austin Municipal Pool building had been ransacked.

Officers found “heavy damage” in the front half of the building, including a drinking fountain that had been torn off the wall, two large pieces of safety glass that had been smashed and a fire extinguisher that had been discharged. A door was also broken off a small refrigerator.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said there is no cost estimate for the damage at this time. He also said there are no suspects, but the case has been turned over to the Department of Investigation for follow-up.
