Lyle/Pacelli racked up 312 yards in a season-ending 41-22 win over LeRoy/Ostrander (0-8 overall) in Lyle Wednesday.

The Athletics (2-6 overall) fell behind 6-0 when Kirk Nelson broke a 46-yard touchdown run on the opening drive, but L/P scored the next 36 points as it forced six turnovers.

Skylar Meyer had three interceptions and Ryan Rust also picked off a pass.

L/P’s offense came from Garrett Jenkins, who ran for 174 yards and two scores.

“Garrett was the workhorse tonight and we kind of wore them down,” L/P head coach Mark Buntje said. “It was a great way for us to finish the regular season with a win.”

L/P will enter the section tournament as a No. 7 seed and will play at Spring Grove Tuesday at 7 p.m. L/O will be a No. 8 seed and will play at No. 1 Grand Meadow Tuesday at 7 p.m.
