Alumni Update: Ohm leading Concordia in passing

Spencer Ohm, a 2007 Blooming Prairie grad, is leading the Concordia Golden Bears (3-2 overall) in passing this year.

Ohm has thrown for 1,136 yards and 11 touchdowns with a completion percentage of 61.4.

Ohm has also run for 133 yards and one score on 47 carries (2.8 per carry).

Elliot Herdina, a 2008 Blooming Prairie grad, has 10 catches for 105 yards in three games with Gustavus Adolphus so far this season.

Darin Wagner, a 2008 Hayfield grad, has eight catches for 112 yards and one touchdown for the Gusties (2-2 overall).

David Schotanus, a 2010 Southland grad, has played in four games at running back for the Rochester Community and Technical College football team this fall.

Schotanus, who is a blocking back, has 23 yards on nine carries (5.75 per carry).


Nichelle Grage, a 2009 Austin grad, is the second leading setter at the University of Minnesota-Morris (10-10 overall).

Grage is averaging 4.07 set assists and .63 digs per game.

Alyssa Nelson, a 2007 Hayfield grad, is second at the University of Minnesota-Duluth with kills (2.82 per game) and she leads the squad in blocks (1.02 per game).

UMD is 15-1 overall.

Abbie Fay, a 2010 Grand Meadow grad, has 80 kills, 22 serving aces, and 14 solo blocks in 25 matches for Rochester Community and Technical College.

Marie Morem, a 2010 Blooming Prairie grad, has 72 kills, 14 solo blocks and 13 block assists for the Yellowjackets.

Kaylee Bunne, a 2010 LeRoy/Ostrander grad, is averaging .88 kills and .64 blocks per game at St. Mary’s University. Bunne leads SMU (15-4 overall) in blocks.


Catherine Wagner, a 2009 Austin grad has come up with two top-10 finishes this fall for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Wagner took sixth overall with a 163 at the UW-EC Invite, which the Blugolds won, and she tied for ninth at the Wartburg Invite with a 165.

Kelsey Stough, a 2010 Austin grad, recently finished in 12th place for Concordia Wisconsin at the Northern Athletics Conference tournament.

Stough had the third best score on her team, which won the conference title for the second straight year.

Kristen Schulstad, a 2008 Austin grad, took 41st overall at the MIAC tournament while competing for College of Saint Benedict, which took third in the tourney.


Laine Hicks, a 2010 Austin grad, has played in six games so far this season for the North Carolina Wesleyan women’s soccer team.

Hicks has attempted two shots for NCW (0-11 overall).

Ji-Hoon Kim, a former Pacelli student, has played in four games for the St. Mary’s University men’s soccer team this season.

Kim has two shot attempts and one shot on goal for SMU (2-10 overall).


Pacelli grad Colin Sheehan has run in three races for the St. Mary’s University so far this season. He had the team’s 10th best finish at the SMU open with a time of 24:20.20 in the 4-mile race, he had SMU’s eighth best finish in an 8K race in Notre Dame with a time of 29:51 and he had the 10th best time on the team at the No Limit Invite with a time of 30:57.
