The Riverland soccer team got its first win of the season with an 8-1 victory over Hibbing in Austin Saturday.

The Blue Devils (1-8 overall) had just three goals on the season coming into the game, but its offense was in full effect Saturday.

“I kept telling my players if you keep working hard good things will happen,” RCC head coach Soner Dogan said. “Today we had a full team. We played better soccer and we deserved the win the game.”

Miques Cisneros, Tan Do and Lucas Dang, all scored 2 goals, while Derek Halla and Ulugbek Jumaev added one goal each.
