ST. PAUL — Marquee political names from the Democratic and Republican parties are headed to Minnesota this week to lend a hand in Minnesota’s race for governor.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will help raise money for GOP gubernatorial nominee Tom Emmer on Monday. The next day, former President Bill Clinton will headline a fundraiser for Democratic nominee Mark Dayton.
Both events are at hotels in Minneapolis.
As of Friday, neither visitor planned to make any appearances open to the general public.
Vice President Joe Biden is due in Minnesota next month on Dayton’s behalf.
