Phyllis L. (Fisher) MacIntosh

Phyllis L. (Fisher) MacIntosh passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Homestead Hospice, in Owatonna, with her family by her side.

Phyllis was born in Duluth, the daughter of Rial and Ruth (Phelps) Fisher. After high school graduation, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked for the United States Government. Phyllis married Claude MacIntosh on April 21, 1946. They moved to Austin where they raised their three children and lived for many years.

Phyllis relocated to Owatonna in 1980 and retired a few years later. She enjoyed baking and entertaining her family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her three children, Sandy (and Karen) MacIntosh of Owatonna, Doug (and Karen) MacIntosh of Lansing, and Bonnie MacIntosh of Fremont, Neb.; grandchildren, Jeremy (and Melissa) MacIntosh, Ian (and Darlene) MacIntosh, Molly (and Ryan) MacIntosh Abraham, Wesley (and Laurie) Baedke, Nicholas MacIntosh, Kelly (and Vince) Blome, Rebecca (and Abram) Menchaca, Benjamin Baedke, Zachary Baedke, and seven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, brothers and one great-grandson.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to Owatonna Homestead Hospice.
