NFL Picks: Week 3
Published 6:25 pm Friday, September 24, 2010
Here are the picks:
Tennessee at New York Giants
Pick: TITANS
The Titans benched Vince Young last week and he was mad —rightfully so since no starter wants to get pulled from the game.
Let’s see if he can turn that anger into production against a Giants team that laid down for the Colts Sunday night.
Cincinnati at Carolina
Pick: BENGALS
Jimmy Clausen is already at the helm for the Panthers. He couldn’t win at Notre Dame and he sure isn’t the answer in the NFL
Pittsburgh at Tampa Ba
Pick: BUCS
It’s hard to believe both these teams are 2-0. The Steelers are due for a loss without Roethlisberger.
Buffalo at New England
Pick: PATRIOTS
The Bills secondary and running backs aren’t half-bad but the rest of their team is all bad.
Cleveland at Baltimore
Pick: RAVENS
Ravens always beat the Browns.
San Francisco at Kansas City
Pick: CHIEFS
The 49ers ship is sinking and the Chiefs are playing solid ball
Dallas at Houston
Pick: TEXANS
How bad will it hurt for Jerry Jones when he realizes the Cowboys aren’t the best team in Texas anymore
Detroit at Minnesota
Pick: VIKINGS
This game will be close and Favre will get a hit — a lot. I just have to believe No. 4 will bounce back from his atroucious performance last week.
Atlanta at New Orleans
Pick: FALCONS
The Saints have looked pretty beatable in the first two games and Atlanta isn’t too shabby.
Washington at St. Louis
Pick: REDSKINS
The Rams aren’t good.
Philadelphia at Jacksonville
Pick: EAGLES
Mike Vick will likely have his best game of the year against a questionable Jags team.
Indianopolis at Denver
Pick: BRONCOS
The Colts may fall victim to the Super Bowl losers curse this year. They looked good against the Giants, but let’s see them do it outdoors on the road.
Oakland at Arizona
Pick: RAIDERS
It’s kind of early for a the Toilet Bowl, but these teams aren’t going anywhere.
San Diego at Seattle
Pick: CHARGERS
San Diego’s due to start one of their patented long winning streaks.
New York Jets at Miami
Pick: JETS
Big time test for the Jets against a tough squad on the road.
Green Bay at Chicago
Pick: GREEN BAY
The Bears should be 1-1 and the Packers will pull out quite a few stops in this one after running predictable play-calling in the first two games.
