ST. CLOUD — A 30-year-old St. Cloud woman has been charged with felonies after police officers found her children bound by their hands and feet in separate rooms.
The St. Cloud Police Department reports on Thursday that officers went to a home in St. Cloud on Monday while investigating a report of child neglect.
They found two, 2-year-old children bound in separate bedrooms. The St. Cloud Times reports their mother was there and was arrested.
Maimuna Mohamed Mohamud was later charged with malicious punishment of a child. Bail was set at $5,000. She was in the Stearns County Jail on Thursday evening.
A call to a Police Department spokesman was not immediately returned.
