Ivis Lucille Crump Daley, 96 of Austin, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.
Ivis was born on Nov. 17, 1913, in Northfield to Geo. and Maude Crump. She moved to Austin as a child and graduated from Austin High School in 1933. Ivis married James T. Daley on Aug. 22, 1936, and they resided in Austin their entire life.
Ivis retired from the Hormel Employees Credit Union after working there for several years. She resided in her home in southwest Austin until her death. She was extremely talented with her embroidering and crocheting. Ivis and Jim loved spending time at their cabin in Faribault on Lake Mazaska and also enjoyed spending time with their daughters and family.
Ivis is survived by her daughters: Barbara Baldwin, Victorville, Caliof.; JoAnn (Thomas) Haggart, Belleville, MI; Mary Jane (John) Kerling, Lonsdale, MN; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim in 1986.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Patricia M. Toschak officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary for one hour before the service on Saturday.
The family prefers memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Ivis will be greatly missed by her daughters and families.
