The Hayfield volleyball team took first at its own invite Saturday after beating Goodhue 25-18, 25-13 in the title game Saturday.

The Vikings (5-1 overall) went unbeaten on the day as they beat Blooming Prairie 25-6, 25-21, topped Lewiston/Altura 25-20, 26-18, 15-8, and beat LeRoy/Ostrander 25-20, 25-12.

Southland (4-11-1 overall) took fourth place in the tournament after falling to L/A 25-14, 25-19.

The Rebels went 2-1 in pool play, beating Albert Lea and Lyle/Pacelli and losing to Goodhue.

L/O (5-3 overall) took sixth place in the tourney after it lost a close one to Albert Lea 25-23, 25-27, 15-13.

The Cards beat BP in pool play and lost to Hayfield and L/A.

BP (2-5 overall) finished seventh after beating Lyle/Pacelli (0-7 overall) 25-10, 25-19.

BP lost to Hayfield, L/A, and L/O in pool play, while L/P lost to Southland, Albert Lea and Goodhue in pool play.
