The Grand Meadow volleyball team got its first win of the season by topping Lyle/Pacelli (1-12 overall) 25-20, 25-8, 22-25, 25-22 in GM Tuesday.

The Superlarks (1-8 overall, 1-4 SEC) stayed aggressive up front as sophomore middle hitter Courtney Olson slammed down 14 kills.

“It’s always a big deal to break the ice and get that first win,” GM head coach Michael Keefe said. “We’ve got a lot of young players who haven’t had a lot of success at this is level.”
