The Blooming Prairie volleyball team swept Mankato Loyola (0-10 overall) by scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-9 in BP Thursday.

BP (7-10 overall, 2-2 Gopher) was aggressive on both ends of the floor and its defense stepped it up a notch.

“We have been really working on defense lately and keeping the ball off of the floor,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “Janelle Morem made some really athletic plays tonight, often off of a teammate’s wayward dig. It’s the kind of play that doesn’t really make it into the stat line, but can get a team excited.
