The Austin girls cross country took second and the boys took fifth at the 10-team Lake City Invite Tuesday.

The Packer girls were led by Haley Splinter, who took second and Madison Overby, who took third.

“The girls continue do very well and we just need to close the gap between our third and fourth runner a little more,” Austin head coach Tony Einertson said. “We should be a solid team by the end of the season.”
