William Robert “Chico” Miller, age 61, of Austin, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at his home.

William was born May 5, 1949 in Austin to Donald and Myrtle (Fink) Miller. On June 21, 1975 he married Lynn Williams in Austin. William served in the United States Army, worked at Quality Pork and was a member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, his family and his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Miller, Austin; children, Blake Miller, Austin, Kristine Stehlik and husband Jason, Austin; grandchildren, Issac Miller and Alexander Miller; mother, Myrtle Tesdahl, Austin; brothers, Donald “Butch” Miller, Austin, Gary Miller and wife Terry, Rockwell, IA, John Miller, Mankato, David Miller and wife Linda, Austin, Steven Miller and wife Angela, Austin, Brad Miller, Austin; sisters, Diane LaRocco and husband John, Tacoma, WA, Debra Adams, Portland, OR., and step brothers, Bob Tesdahl and wife Dorothy, Marion, IA, Randy Tesdahl and wife Peggy, St. Francis

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Miller; step father, Newman Tesdahl; nephew, Jeremy James Miller; special friends, Jack and Gerri Tindahl.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 2 pm on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Joe Fogal officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post #91.
