The Pacelli girls tennis team split a pair of matches in Albert Lea Tuesday.

The Shamrocks (1-3 overall) beat Worthington 5-2 and fell to Albert Lea 4-3.

“All of our girls played well today,” Pacelli head coach Mark Henderson said. “Albert Lea was tough on the doubles side, and the girls hung in there, but they just couldn’t quite get over the hump. We will get back on the practice court and work on some things to get us over that hump.”

Pacelli’s top three singles players Lauren Rieker, Abby Leif and Steph Kocer all went unbeaten on the day.
