Patricia “Pat” Ann Brooks died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at her home in Colorado Springs, Colo., after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter: Micki Kaercher of Colorado Springs; her sons: Kelly (Sue) Kaercher of Colorado Springs and Corey Kaercher of Austin, Minn.; 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Pat was a lady who loved life. She was an avid Twin fan and also enjoyed the Timberwolves and Vikings. Since moving to Colorado, her allegiance was somewhat split. She had also learned to love the Rockies, Nuggets and Broncos. She loved to play cards and was know to pull a few pull-tabs in her day. She spent many years selling pull-tabs, both at Lefty’s bar and at the Moose Lodge. She had many friends and touched many lives. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Cedar River Golf Course in Adams, Minn. at 5 p.m. Please join us to celebrate the life of this lady who loved an opportunity to celebrate with friends and family.
