An Austin man faces a felony drug charge for more than 40 grams of marijuana reportedly found on him last week.

Jesse Travis Becker, 18, is scheduled to appear in court on July 29 for an arraignment on the single count.

According to a criminal complaint filed Friday, police were called to 215 Fourth Ave. NE on Thursday afternoon regarding a stabbing suspect possibly being at the location. The complaint does not make it clear who police were looking for, though 24-year old Ghavin Darrell Marryshaw is currently wanted in connection with two recent downtown stabbings.

Marryshaw is not named in the complaint.

When police arrived, they found Becker behind the house. He was reportedly acting nervously, and police detained him and performed a pat search. An officer then found a number of bags of marijuana totaling more than 42.5 grams and a filed down screwdriver used to “break up” the drug, the report states.

Becker was then arrested. He is in custody on $10,000 bail, or $3,000 with conditions.
